Becoming a marine biologist has the duties and responsibilities of going on ships and gathering samples of animals, plankton, water, and sediment. They also analyze these samples and write reports about them. This job might include managing fish and shellfish farms. They monitor the health and well being on fish. Marine biologists work at estimating and monitoring the different things that live in the ocean.
